I am proud to announce that my blog has a business email, and I solved some technical issues with my contact page and subscription form. The problem first started with my contact page and subscription form. I realized that my contact and subscription notifications were not coming to my email provided through Bluehost. Personally, I was not a fan of the Bluehost email. I did not like the process for checking my emails or the look of it. It seemed too busy. When I conducted some testing for my contact and subscription notifications, I noticed that I kept getting error messages.
I decided to proceed with purchasing a business email through Google Workspace. This is actually one of the email providers recommended on the Bluehost site. Once I went through the process of creating my email, I noticed there was still an issue with my email connecting with my contact and subscription forms. I thought it would be as easy as updating my new email in these forms, but that was not the case. I was missing plugins and key information that had to be created and input in certain fields for everything to connect. It took a series of WordPress and Youtube tutorials, but I finally figured it out. I must say the WordPress tutorial was on point. I completed each step as recommended and completed a series of test runs. And guess what? It worked!
This blog is taking me on an exciting but scary journey because there are so many things I have to learn. You definitely have to give yourself grace. You also have to remember that someone, somewhere had the same question/issue and that is why there are tutorials, troubleshooting steps, etc. They are there for us to use.
So, if you need to contact me just fill out my contact form and make sure to subscribe to my blog.
